Fun Cinemas is one of India’s premier chain of multiplexes with presence in both metros and non –metros. However, the Tier II and Tier III markets are increasingly gaining importance in our business. For the year 2007-8, the business contributed by non metros was approximately 55% of the Company’s total revenues. This has encouraged the Company to focus on a hinterland roll out. In addition to its upcoming properties in Mumbai, Kolkata and Hyderabad, Fun Cinemas has already signed another 170 screens that would be operational by 2009 in towns like Jodhpur, Kota, Rajkot, Surat, Coimbatore, Jalandhar, Ludiana, Bathinda, Amritsar, Mangalore, Eluru, Solapur, Surat, Raipur, Bhopal, Baroda, Tirupati, Dehradun, Moradabad and Jammu. By 2011, FMPL would have 300 lifestyle multiplex screens commissioned.
